How old do you have to be to take a lesson?

We accept any ages and any prior experiences.

Currently we have a weight restriction for the safety of our horses. Horses are strong but they do have physical limits so to not get injured. So we do ask anyone that wants to book a lesson with us, to not exceed 200 lbs. So sorry for the inconvenience.

Do you do lessons for more than one person at a time?

As of right now, Nicky is the only instructor at ADK Horsemanship, and she rather provide her full attention to one person at a time. When the student has more knowledge and skills, they can join a semi-private or group lesson. Some newcomers come in couples or families, and Nicky will do a horsemanship intro and then each person gets an allotted amount to experience riding a horse, as others watch and observe. Otherwise, scheduling a private lesson is the best way to schedule a session with ADK Horsemanship!
